Our History

Since established in 2018 as a private company, we have successfully provided security services to a large number of organizations in both the private and public sectors and have been able to earn their trust with our professionalism and efficiency to continue these services. The "Efficient Guard" Security Syndicate has been designed to meet the security solutions of our clients, with a very high standard of professionalism, reliability and confidentiality. Therefore, we employ only those who are experienced, trained, qualified and trustworthy personnel in all our security assignments, undertakings and operations. It has enabled us to win the "trust and confidence" of our clients while conforming to our laid down well proven Standing Orders (SOs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Efficient Guard Security Syndicate (Private) Limited is incorporated under the Companies Act No. 07 of 2007 and licensed under the Private Security Agencies Act No. 45 of 1998 by the Ministry of Defence, Sri Lanka.

The Management

Retired Commissioned Infantry Officer (Major)

The management of "Efficient Guard" Security Services is headed by a retired Commissioned Infantry Officer (Major), who has served in the Sri Lanka Army for over twenty years, mostly in the operational areas of the island during the era of North and East conflict. He has successfully completed two Military courses in India — the Infantry Young Officers' Course and Advance Infantry Course. He has held two grade 1 staff appointments, simultaneously, viz the Security Force Head Quarters SFHQ (East) and Forward Maintenance Area (FMA) of the Sri Lanka Army. He has also successfully completed a Diploma in Management and Corporate Affairs in the United Kingdom (U.K.) London. Our group of security expertise comprises gazette Ex-Army/Navy/Air Force Officers, who have acquired experience and knowledge of handling safety and security matters at private and personal capacities. Furthermore, special assistance is being provided by specialists in the same field on call.
